i have a 90 limited and i have a ton of play in my steering, i was told it wasnt that simple. it has something to do with the steering gears or steering box. its not a simple fix. take it to a shop and have it looked at. dont get me wrong steering stabilizers are worth every penny so go ahead and do it but dont expect that to fix the problem.

Probably will but you certainly did not plan to do that job in a driveway--you need a shop that has experience with lift jobs---there are too many unexpected things that you WILL run into---they have the facility to remedy the little pain in the butt stuff. Anything you do wrong could be disasterous.

actually depending on the lift you either have to drop the t-case and tranny or you can get a slip yoke eliminator kit and put a cv driveshaft in back. i would go with the cv driveshaft way because u dont lose any ground clearance and if you decide later that you want to lift it more then 3-4 inches then youll already have the cv driveshaft and slip yoke eliminator kit that you must have for anything above 4 inches. but its not necessarily puting a rubicon lift on because the rubicon has different axles as well so just by swapin springs with one doesnt make it a rubicon lift acceptable.

At some point in lifting or raising a vehicle.. the transfer case and or transmission will need to be lowered.
Longer driveshafts may be needed also. It is one of those things where you have to try and see, unless you know someone who has done the exact same modifications to their vehicle.
Does this help any?
